Für die anstehende Coach Clinic im Rahmen des Albert Schweitzer Turnier 2024 in Mannheim/Viernheim, die in Kooperation mit der FIBA Europe stattfindet, ist nun die Themenauswahl getroffen worden. Vom 04. bis 05. April 2024 referieren Dirk Bauermann sowie Jota Cuspinera und Aleksandar Džikić über aktuelle Themen des Basketballs.

Nach dem Check-In am Donnerstag, 04. April, beginnt Dirk Bauermann die Coach Clinic mit seinem Vortrag zum Thema „Flow: The basic offense system of all German youth national teams“. In das zweite Thema „Baseline sets, offense principles and ideas to defend them“ wird Cuspinera im Anschluss einführen. In der Folge wird Chris B. Bröker einen Einblick in „Brainkinetic“ geben. Am Abend stehen die Begegnungen zwischen Slowenien und Australien und der deutschen U18 und Japan auf dem Programm.

An Tag zwei, 05. April, kommt Džikić mit einem Vortrag zum Thema „Players development drills, adjusted to goals of practice during the season“ als Erster zu Wort. Danach folgen Cuspineras Ausführungen im Bereich „Understanding and teaching Spacing & Timing through 3 very simple principles no matter the level“. Nach der Mittagspause übernimmt Džikić mit dem Thema „Individual work approach to practice during the season“. Den theoretischen Teil beschließt die Podiumsdiskussion mit Džikić und Cuspinera. Zum Abschluss der Coach Clinic stehen die Halbfinalpartien sowie am darauffolgenden Tag Platzierungs- und Finalspiele an.

The topics for the upcoming Coach Clinic as part of the Albert Schweitzer Tournament 2024 in Mannheim/Viernheim, which is being held in cooperation with FIBA Europe, have now been selected. In the evening, the matches between Slovenia and Australia and the German U18s and Japan are on the program.

On day two, April 5, Džikić will be the first to speak with a presentation on „Player development drills, adjusted to goals of practice during the season“. This will be followed by Cuspinera’s presentation on „Understanding and teaching Spacing & Timing through 3 very simple principles no matter the level“. After the lunch break, Džikić will take over with the topic „Individual work approach to practice during the season“. The theoretical part will end with a panel discussion with Džikić and Cuspinera. The Coach Clinic will conclude with the semi-finals and the placement and final matches on the following day.
